Thai Sen-Line Deep Massage

Deep, sustained pressure along the tight lines. For people who leave a normal massage still feeling knotted.

นวดไทยรีดเส้น

Sen-line deep massage applies slow, sustained pressure along tight muscle lines, staying on a single point far longer than a standard Thai massage in order to release long-held knots. Therapists use elbows and body weight to reach depth.

This is the firmest treatment we offer. It is where people end up when a normal massage feels like it "did not quite get there". You should feel a dull ache at the knot — but never enough to make you brace or hold your breath. If you do, it is too much; say so.

What happens on the day

Locate the tightness

Point out exactly where it hurts. Your therapist palpates for the knot before applying pressure.

Warm the muscle first

Lighter work first so the tissue is warm — never straight to depth.

Depth and hold

Elbow or thumb held on the knot until it releases, then on to the next point.

Stretch to finish

The released muscle is stretched so it settles back into place.

Who it suits

  • Experienced massage-goers who like firm pressure
  • Anyone with the same chronic tight spot returning again and again
  • Athletes and manual workers

Questions about this treatment

You may be for a day or two, much like after a hard workout. That is normal. Drink plenty of water and apply gentle heat if it helps.

Thai massage moves through the whole body with a lot of stretching. Sen-line work stays on the tight points far longer and goes considerably deeper.
